Over my career as a journalist I've covered a litany of subjects. Among them, income inequality and medical marijuana reform, to profiling a Muslim fashion designer trying to break the stereotype of dressing sexy while remaining modest. I spent two days in the home of Zarela Martinez, the self-proclaimed ‘queen of Mexican cuisine,’ and interviewed taco experts across the country, culminating in a long-form piece about the best Mexican food in New York City. I’ve covered the rising pressure on emergency rooms across New York City in an award winning report called The Doctor Drain and wrote an engineering story about a house in peril in the face of erosion on Chappaquiddick Island.
At Present, I'm working as a contributing writer for Travel & Leisure Magazine.
